The Pharmacy Technician in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Inpatient Pharmacy provides a positive customer service environment, assists the Pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications, responsible for insurance processing and adjudication, manages inventory, and ensures best practices are followed to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Work Schedule:
- .8 FTE/32 hours weekly. 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday with every 3rd weekend 8a-noon
Required Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Minimum of 1 year recent Pharmacy Technician experience required.
- Registered technician in Wisconsin.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
- Candidate must be able to communicate proficiently and accurately with all levels of professional care givers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program and National Pharmacy Technician Certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in EPIC computer system.
