Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Melrose Center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
To create schedules and other reports needed to staff the hospital on a 24-hour basis. Coordinates the staffing and information needs of the hospital while striving for enhanced staff satisfaction.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7 hours and then ½ day Friday.
Required Qualifications:
- PC and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize/manage a multitude of projects.
- This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to HIPPA, FMLA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws).
- PC, Microsoft Word and Excel, pagers, multiple phone lines, staffing and scheduling system, e-paging, the Learning Point.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in staffing/scheduling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Mathematical ability, problem solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and organization desired.
