RequirementsPart-time, BC/BE experienced Hospice Medicine or graduating Hospice resident or fellow. The ideal candidate will be highly efficient with excellent clinical and technical skills and experience with a busy inpatient and outpatient service.
Reason for RecruitmentSearch for a physician to manage clinical and administrative needs of our rural Hospice program serving patients in their homes and at Woodland, our Hospice residence.
Practice Details
  • There are 4 hospitals (Clare, Gladwin, Midland, Alma) and 8 counties (Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Midland, Gratiot, parts of Montcalm, Bay and Saginaw) in our service area
  • M-F 24-28 hours/week
  • Collaboration with Hospice NP and clinical team
  • Participate in weekly IDT meetings and other meetings as needed
  • Admission reviews, DocuSign signatures, education, clinical consultation as needed
  • Medical Director Oversight of Hospice Program
  • Home and facility visits required at times
  • Workspace available in Midland and Mt Pleasant, can also work from home
  • Rotation of on-call after hours 1:3
