In this role, you'll be the maestro orchestrating our social media strategy, skillfully coordinating and executing cohesive, high-impact campaigns across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond. 

With a keen eye for storytelling and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape, you'll ensure our content/messaging is on brand and speaks to our perfect clients.

The Social Media Manager Role

You will act as both a coordinator and manager and be responsible for both strategic oversight and hands-on execution of our social media strategy. Your mission will be to ensure cohesive and high-quality content delivery across all platforms (Instagram, Linkedin, Youtube).

We need someone with a deep passion for social media, a proven track record in successful content management, and the ability to craft and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our business objectives.

Excellent writing skills (and story telling), an eye for engaging content, understanding how to repurpose and leverage existing content into multiple assets, experience managing a team, and project management are essential skills for this role. 

Responsibilities

  • Convert our long form video assets into smaller pieces of content (i.e, twitter threads, carousel posts, reels, etc..) that can allow us to syndicate more content across multiple platforms from ONE piece of content
  • Manage content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all social media platforms (Instagram, Youtube, Buzzsprout, Linkedin)
  • Help develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our company/marketing objectives
  • Engage with comments by providing timely and appropriate responses
  • Regularly monitor comments and reviews on social media platforms to ensure they adhere to community guidelines and brand standards
  • Create well-written captions for social media (we have AI prompts and frameworks that can assist with this) 
  • Manage the people and processes within the marketing team, including long-form video editors, short-form editors, and graphic designers
  • Monitor, analyze, and provide weekly reports on content performance for each platform, delivering actionable insights
  • Identify popular hashtags and keywords to optimize content discoverability and increase engagement
  • Work with CEO to suggest topics for videos/podcasts
  • Post stories to IG daily with a combination of client testimonials, videos, and other helpful stories
  • Work closely with the marketing team to generate new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Ensure all content assets follow our style guide but don’t be afraid to push the boundaries and test new layout concepts to improve engagement and conversions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • English speaking
  • Must have a good understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook and how to maximize engagement based on the platforms’ algorithm
  • Must be an excellent writer and understand how to weave storytelling into our content. Understanding of direct-response copywriting is a BIG plus
  • Strong knowledge of SEO 
  • Must be very data-driven and understand which metrics are important to track and how to make decisions based on that data
  •  Deep understanding of short form content – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy
  • Familiar with social media and project management tools such as Later and Trello
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change
  • Proven ability to oversee projects from start to finish
  • Experience leading a team
  • Strong attention to detail to proofread content, ensure accuracy in posting schedules, and maintain consistent branding
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple social media accounts or platforms, and adhere to deadlines
  • Secret Code is HP 2025
  • Proficient in basic photo editing using tools such as Canva and using Google docs/sheets, dropbox..etc

Results:

  • ON BRAND MESSAGING! We’re more concerned that the RIGHT message is being shared across our channels rather than playing to engagement metrics that could potentially attract the wrong people into our world.
  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Fast response times to comments on our social media platforms (average response time of 2 hours, except when asleep) and you provide appropriate responses in the voice of Yuri, CEO of Healthpreneur.
  • 4 WEEKS AHEAD: Your organizational skills will help us have our content scheduled at least 4 weeks out at all times. This ensures ample time to coordinate with relevant team members to create and bring necessary assets together.
  • TWO A DAY: We want to be able to post at least 2x per day on Instagram, Youtube shorts, and LinkedIn. Obviously, this can be throttled up or down based on metrics over time.
  • Backed by data driven analysis, you contribute to the overall improvement of Healthpreneur’s marketing efforts by sharing insights into observed patterns, distinguishing what’s working and what’s not, and offering valuable ideas and strategies to strengthen our social media approach, when needed.
