Job DescriptionThe company is seeking a high-level Electrical Designer proficient in both HVAC and Plumbing systems design.

Requirements
- A college degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is required.
- 3 years’ experience in MEP consulting.
- Proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- The candidate must be able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Must be responsive to clients, comfortable attending meetings, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design drawings and schematics for HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with HVAC and plumbing engineers to coordinate system design and integration.
- Select and specify electrical components, equipment, and materials.
- Perform load calculations and sizing of electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed electrical design documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate installation of electrical systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during construction and commissioning phases.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in electrical design, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, such as NEC and NFPA.
- Knowledge of building automation systems and protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Certification in energy management or sustainability.
