Shift Timings : 18:45 - 07:15 Monday to friday
Roles & Responsibilities

• 18 month minimum Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required
• 2 years experience in specialty preferred Nurse
• Patient Ratio by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non ICU Certifications Required
• BLS, PALS Certifications Preferred: ACLS

Minimum Qualifications

• Congenital heart disease/defects, surgical CHD, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, VAD
• Age range: neonatal through young adult; occasional adult CHD patients 24 pedi CVICU with overflow to 12 bed unit next door; may float to care for cardiac patients in NICU, PICU or Acute Care
• Required a minimum of 2 years of Experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Pediatric CVICU experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Texas state license
• One year of Epic experience
• PALS Certification

Requirements

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
