Looking for an energetic, friendly staff member to serve as Patient Care coordinator/Front office staff at our South Tampa Location!
Front office job Description
Phones turn over at 8:00
Make sure that all patients get checked in and are not waiting too long in the waiting area
Verify insurances for patients for the next day
Call and confirm next day appointments if not confirmed
Check sign in sheet make sure that all patients have been checked in (Brooksville office only)
Scan in anything that the doctors may give you for the patients checking out
Attach documents from the scan folder to the patient’s account
Verify new patient packets, scan and attach to the patient’s account
Schedule any lunches for drug reps (S Tampa Holly schedules the lunches)
Lunch breaks are 30 mins
Maintain a clean working environment and waiting room area
Check the waiting area throughout the day make sure magazines are put up and no cups are
sitting around etc.
Ask if any of your other co-workers may need help with anything
Assist the physicians when necessary (paperwork to be scanned, mailed etc.)
Any surgeries please forward to Heather and if she is out forward to Lesley
Make sure any paperwork that needs to be shredded is shredded by the end of the day
When checking out a patient make sure to collect past due balances
Take out the trash at the end of the day as well as sweep or mop if necessary (applies to certain
offices)
Phones turn over after 5:00
