Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry procedures
- Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs
- Ensure proper medical / dental documentation and compliance with regulations
- Aid with scheduling patient next appointment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and operating related equipment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
