Bilingual Van Outreach Specialist- Part Time (20-24 hours)

Reports To: Van RN Supervisor

Job Description:

• Assist Van RN Supervisor with community outreach events; promoting access to healthcare education and community resources
• Provide prenatal and parenting education, training and support to at-risk families
• Assist with the monthly pick up of diapers and period products from Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank (Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, bending and lifting)
• Track and enter data accordingly into Salesforce database
• Facilitate the distribution of resources such as diapers, period products, food boxes, hygiene products, clothes, etc to clients and their families
• Assist with keeping van maintenance up to date
• Ability to drive the HMB RV
• Assist with volunteers, university students, and intern efforts for the program
• Attend necessary agency staff meetings

Qualifications:

• Medical background-experiences with Labor and delivery, pediatrics, public health (preferred)
• STNA, CMA, CCHW (preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish (Required)

Must have knowledge of:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
• Must be able to demonstrate and live the organizational values of Communication, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Accountability

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of background checks upon hire
• Must have reliable transportation, active driver's license and good driving record
• May be called upon to work beyond normal working hours

Hourly Position- 20-24 hours per week

11 paid company holidays, PTO accural based on hours worked

Annual performance-based raises, up to 4% of your annual pay

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
