Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and assisting dental professionals in delivering quality dental services. Dental assisting or related experience preferred but not required. Compenation based on experience but personality is as important as prior knowledge! Our team splits time between our Lexington and Winchester offices.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during procedures as needed
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Enter treatment into patient records

-Sometimes answer phone or check patients in/out
- Perform various office tasks as needed--We all pitch in to get the job done!

Beneficial experience (but flexible):

- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in dental software systems
-Assist with imaging procedures (taking x-rays/photos etc)

- Ability to take vital signs

-Prior experience in the dental or related healthcare field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
