HealthyU Family Medicine is Hiring a Director, People Team Near Mesa, AZ

Overview:

The Director of Human Resources is a senior executive responsible for strategically planning and implementing human capital initiatives within the organization. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, they collaborate with leadership, provide guidance on human capital, and ensure adherence to HR policies.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in leadership meetings to set company goals.
  • Share HR team updates and ongoing projects.
  • Discuss budget, staff expansion, and market expansion proposals.
  • Leads the People Team integration efforts for practice acquisitions and expansion.

Culture:

  • Serves as a cultural ambassador for the organization and helps promote a strong company culture
  • Leads the process to conduct employee surveys, analyze results and make recommendations to Executive Leadership team on ways to improve culture and morale.
  • Organizes employee team building events and quarterly community volunteer opportunities.

Management:

  • Directly manages People Team staff.
  • Conduct annual reviews and address team issues.
  • Monitor HR KPIs (turnover rate, absenteeism, satisfaction).
  • Manages department programs, policies, and activities; negotiates and resolves sensitive and controversial issues.
  • Collaborates with leadership to create professional development opportunities for team members
  • Oversees employe benefits programs, evaluates benefit design and makes recommendations to Executive Team to optimize employee benefits.

Staffing:

  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
  • In collaboration with Executive Team establishes appropriate service and staffing levels that are in line with our budget; Monitor and analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of policies and procedures; allocate resources accordingly.
  • Evaluates candidates, conducts interviews and makes hiring recommendations to hiring managers

Policy Development:

  • Ensure HR policies are developed and followed across the organization.

Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s or law degree highly preferred.
  • At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
