Duties:
- Provide personalized care and assistance to patients in various settings including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room environments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support.
- Administer medications following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Support patients with emotional and social needs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Familiarity with working in a teaching hospital or OR setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a personal care assistant or similar qualification required.
