Heart 2 Heart Delivery & Moving Solutions LLC is Hiring a Mover Driver Near Frederick, MD
- Pick up and deliver various items as needed
- Safely load and unload breakable items
- Pack and unpack boxes as needed
- Assemble and place items as needed
- Helps with the pick-up (loading), transportation, and delivery (unloading and placement) of household goods/equipment.
- Involves lifting, movement, and placement of heavy items by hand or with the assistance of material handling equipment (hand truck or dolly).
- Receives instruction from crew leader and adheres to all company policies and safety rules.
- Works with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Must wear a company-approved uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company and delivering service to customers.
- Responsible for the proper use of all company equipment, and packing materials, and proper treatment of company vehicles always. Must be able to drive a straight Truck, Moving Van, and any other company vehicle.
- Display professional conduct, courtesy, and manners when entering and performing work in the client’s home or office.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with other crew members, clients, and move coordinators.
- Reliable and available for dispatch on time and possible with varying work schedules.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to lift heavy items and climb stairs
- Must be 18 or older and be able to pass a DOT physical
- Valid driver's license
- Team player
- Must successfully pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
- Capable of lifting 50 to 100 pounds and utilizing proper lifting techniques; perform any other duties that are assigned.
- Customer service skills
- Prior items moving / driving experience is a plus
