Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently looking to hire an Assistant Director of Nursing for a caring, compassionate, and patient-focused skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities of the ADON:

  • Assist Director of Nursing to control nursing budgets and monitor the department's expenditures
  • Assist Director of Nursing to set objectives and long term goals for the nursing department
  • Assist Director of Nursing to develop, coordinate, and organize admissions, nursing, and patient care policies and procedures
  • Assist Director of Nursing to develop, direct, and empower all nursing personnel
  • Assist Director of Nursing to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and professional to streamline operations
  • Assist Director of Nursing to develop and implement new company policies and programs regarding best clinical practices and resident care plans
  • Maintain a high level of clinical competency, including on-going awareness of clinical best practices to align regulatory requirements and organizations strategic plans
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements for the Assistant Director of Nursing:

  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Manager
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding skilled nursing
  • Experience building a team of hard working and trustworthy healthcare professionals
  • Problem solving skills
  • Great communication skills with team members and family members
  • Excellent communicator with ability to handle concurrent tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong ability to lead and develop your team

Experience:

  • 2 years of Nursing Management Preffered
