Primary Responsibilities

• Build relationships and rapport with customers and store personnel, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining localized customer relations.
• Continually monitor customer inventory for proper levels.
• Present and sell new products and pending promotions to current customers and potential new customers.
• Build in-store displays and maintain accounts with POS
• Maintain best in class product placement—filling walk-in and stand-alone coolers and dry shelves with product, ensuring proper product rotation is maintained at all times, and that all back-stock areas are clean and organized.
• Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities.
• Prepare presentations and proposals.
• Follow up on new leads for future calls resulting from field activity.
• Educate client on pricing compared to their competitors and like products.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Record sales calls on required paperwork.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• 1-3 years of previous sales experience is preferred but not required
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to work
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work well with a team
• The Sales Representative must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment, and the flexibility to work long hours beyond standard requirements as needed.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift heavy items; and talk and hear.
