Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator
Basic Functions:
Operates packaging equipment in assigned work area and replenishes materials as needed to minimize machine down time. Operators will run machines, perform quality checks according to product specifications and observe all safety regulations, ensure GMP and quality standards are met, and contribute to the efficient flow of products through the production process.
This position is also expected to qualify into all the skill blocks up to and including level 3-1 according to the Barline 5 Staffing for Excellence plan.
Skills & Abilities:
▪ Excellent communication skills
▪ Basic computer and calculator skills
▪ Self-motivated: finds improved ways to get results and shares improvement
ideas
▪ Able to understand job related documents such as SOPs, Safety, and other manuals
