Qualifications
-Strong working knowledge and experience with Pennsylvania Medicaid qualifications and applications for long term care.
-Must have strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.
-Good interpersonal relations.
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Reliable means of transportation
-Computer skills in word, excel and Office
-Experience in skilled nursing care helpful
Responsibilities
-Information gathering, preparing necessary documentation for making decisions concerning eligibility for Medicaid.
-Conduct a comprehensive review of applications including financial and legal documentation, submitted by applicants/recipients and authorized representatives
-Responsible for working Pending Medicaid applications and re-determinations in order to ensure financial eligibility
-Processing of all appropriate forms applicable to the Pennsylvania requirements
-Respond to inbound and outbound telephone calls received related to Medicaid coverage
-Travel to multiple locations
-Flexible work hours
