Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure high performance and professionalism.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving any issues promptly and ensuring a seamless buying experience.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demand and maximize dealership profitability.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control expenses while maximizing profitability through effective pricing and negotiation strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with dealership policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturer representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, dealership operations, and financial principles.
  • Ability to analyze sales statistics and formulate effective strategies.

  • General Motors experience preferred.
