Job Title: Construction Assistant Project Manager (APM)
Reports To: Project Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Job Summary:
Heartland Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) with experience and knowledge of Construction practices in addition to strong computer and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Project Team
- Review project specifications and plans and update as necessary
- Review submittals to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Maintain project schedule and coordinate with Superintendent and subcontractors
- Coordinate and schedule owner/subcontractor meetings as necessary
- Coordinate schedules with material lead times with Project Manager, Superintendent and Suppliers
- Safety Awareness
- Prepare contract documents as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s (Preferred)
- General Contractor 3 years (Preferred)
- LEED (Preferred)
- Computer Skills
- Communication Skills
Salary and benefit package is very competitive and commensurate on experience
