Heartland FPG is Hiring a Recruiter Near Indianapolis, IN
- Focus on recruitment in the areas of Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Quality
- Sourcing of passive candidates through online recruiting tools and social media as well as candidate management through the Heartland Food Products Group Careers portal
- Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
- Assist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as needed
- Management of open requisitions as assigned
- Assist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as needed
- Attend recruiting events when necessary
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is required
- A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
- Multiple years of demonstrated success in developing and deploying recruiting strategies for hard to fill technical roles
- Demonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and social networking to find and attract top talent.
- Experience working in a food production environment highly preferred
- Knowledge of ATS systems, preferably ADP
- Strong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
- Strong work ethic demonstrated by sense of urgency, flexibility and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
- Must be able to physically perform daily functions as needed
- Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time
- Must possess visual acuity to document company records
- Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
