Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Heartland Hospice Services in Bethlehem, PA. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients. The Registered Nurse will also offer support and guidance to patients' families and provide education on end-of-life care.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in hospice or palliative care
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and compassion for patients and their families
- Knowledge of pain management and symptom control
- Understanding of end-of-life care principles and practices
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
