Job Summary

Bilingual Spanish Family Case Planner to work in East Flatbush location serving children and families in CD 15, 17 and 18 in a child welfare Prevention program to prevent children from being place outside their home. Providing casework counseling using the Solution Based Casework model with families; home visits and home assessments required and carrying 12 cases. Job requires heavy accountability including detailed progress notes, Family assessments and service plans, conferences, attending trainings, case consultations, staff meetings and weekly clinical supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work or equivalent degree

Biilingual Spanish and English required

Previous child welfar experience a plus

Working with children and families previously desired

Good written and verbal communication skills

Technical use of computers and cell phones required
