Sales Coordinator - NYC

As a Sales Coordinator, you will partner with and support the direct and Independent Representative Sales Teams and will be responsible for implementing Business Development campaigns, fulfilling sample/marketing requests, and assuming basic showroom management responsibilities. As the face of the Heartwork showroom, you will be responsible for ensuring the space is presentable for our guests, partners, and internal team members.

Responsibilities:

• Support direct and Independent Rep Sales Teams as needed in sample material inventory, industry event preparation, and shipments of marketing/product materials, etc.
• Develop and maintain weekly Business Development messaging reports following established pipeline management guidelines.
• Perform basic showroom management duties that include cleanliness, organization, and showroom tour/event preparation.
• Successfully represent Heartwork brand and assist in delivering a superior client experience.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with superior time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
• Self–starter and team player with superior time management skills
• Willing to assist in changing tasks and take on new responsibilities

Preferred Experience:

• 1-3 years in the Architecture, Interior Design or Commercial Furniture Industry or applicable Bachelor’s Degree program achievement
• Summer interns may apply
• Passionate about design
• Start-up experience is a plus

Compensation

This is a contract position up to 25 hours per week. Compensation will be within a range of $20-$35 hourly and based on experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 25 per week
