Job DescriptionHV/AC Installer LeadResponsibilities:
Old fashioned style Company with hourly pay and spiff/unit sales pay, very little weekend work and on call. Highly skilled trainers.
- Removal of heating and air conditioning equipment
- Installing new plumbing drain lines
- Installing of heating and air conditioning equipment
- Removal and installation of ducting
- Handling of Freon and high-pressure nitrogen
- Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment
- Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings
- Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
- Ensure connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly done
- Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs
- Meet local HVAC codes
- Deliver consistently excellent customer service that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
- Completion of proper administrative requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of work vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
- EPA Certification
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Ability to work in confined spaces and rooftops
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 100lbs safely
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to climb, work at heights, lift, crawl on hands and knees, work with small items and work in high heat areas (attics)
- Must follow PPE and safety protocols as directed while on customer visits
