Heatherwood is a Memory Care facility designed specifically for persons living with Alzheimer's and Dementia related cognitive challenges.

Job Title: Caregiver

Reports to: Administrator

Caregiver Description:

The Caregiver's responsible for all assigned duties related to the care, well-being and safety of the residents, whether on assisted living services or not. We are looking to fill a Caregiver opening on our PM shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm).

Caregiver Requirements:

Background check, high school diploma or equivalent, able to lift 20 pounds unassisted and push 40 pounds unassisted and will comply with Company Policies and Procedures and State Licensing guidelines. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Perform safety checks on residents.
• Give bathing assistance.
• Give dressing assistance.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Escort residents to/from meals, activities, etc.
• Serve meals to residents.
• Assist in resident emergencies
• Clean rooms as necessary
• Complete resident laundry as requested.
• Assist in resident hygiene management.
• Chart and document appropriate information.
• Assist with residents' dietary needs.
• Participate in departmental training.
• Ensure safety and health of all residents at all times.
• Complete Incident Reports as necessary.
• Report all health, safety and sanitation concerns to supervisor.
• Report assistance with residents that occur which are not on current assignment list.
• Ensure all Personal Care Providers have completed all ADL communication logs at the completion of their shift.
• Ensure that all new services are accurately documented on ADL log sheets.
• Ensure that all discontinued services are removed from the ADL Jog sheets.
• Ensure all resident needs are met, even when it's not a contracted service (on an addendum) and notify the Administrator of services rendered.
• Other duties as directed by the Administrator

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
