We are looking for a full-time Accounts Receivables Specialist to join our AR team. A person in this position will report to the Accounts Receivables Manager and will provide clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts under their control. A person in this position must possess superior organizational, attention to details and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process Manual Rent Deposits.
• Process and review tenant payments online and lockbox via YARDI.
• Process Tenant Security and Accounting Deposits.
• Review New Leases and HAP contracts.
• Calculate unit damages determined by the Superintendents.
• Process late charges and monthly posting to tenant account.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Handle escrow security & alteration deposits and refunds.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Review transaction and unpaid charge reports.
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
• Initiate and discontinue any non-pay legal cases.

Skills and Experience:

As we review candidates for this role, we will be looking for these qualifications:

• YARDI Voyager and Payments Processing (Rent Cafe) experience required.
• Good Excel computer skills and MS Office.
• Professional verbal, and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Education:

• Associate's Degree (Preferred)
• High School Diploma (Required)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 Pounds at times.
