What the Role Is
The Applications Analyst will be responsible for administering a variety of applications and the EDI technology across the Heaven Hill enterprise. The role reports to the Director of IT Business Solutions. The Analyst will own all EDI integrations including onboarding, monitoring health, responding to alerts/tickets and offboarding as appropriate and work closely with the IFS Administrator as well as Data Engineers to ensure success. This position will initially be responsible for maintaining and supporting thirteen disparate applications while also moving them through the application lifecycle. A successful candidate for this role will have broad experience across multiple technologies will be energized by the variety in this role. They will enjoy troubleshooting problems starting with minimal information and take pride in creating order from a relative lack of order.

How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Manage application lifecycle as appropriate – implement, update, migrate/transition, shut down
- Respond to support tickets by working across the organization and 3 rd parties to ensure the work is completed and own the outcome.
- Manage user account setup & permissions
- Define ways to monitor health of the applications and respond to alerts
- Create and maintain integrations with other HH applications such as Active Directory, ADP (HRIS), & IFS (ERP)
- Ensure applications are patched and meet relevant security requirements as appropriate
- Create or update documentation as appropriate
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, gain buy-in and implement them where agreed
- Work closely with IT Business Solution Partner to lead small projects and enhancements utilizing either internal or external resources
- Work closely with other IT operational resources including IFS Admin, Security Engineer, and the Data Services team
- Process Map – an IdeaGen SaaS product used for EHS functions
- Barrel Inventory Control (BIC) – homegrown application written in C# and .NET using a set of objects in the Infragistics framework and an LLBLGEN data manager. It tracks aging whiskey barrel locations, contents, and ownership
- Lab Quality Control Database – homegrown app using FoxPro that holds quality control data
- .NET applications – 6 different apps which largely support processes on the factory floor. All have distinct, limited functionality but some are used regularly and critical to business functions
- .NET Web APIs – 4 APIs that largely support the factory floor
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Business Computer Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
- Minimum 4 years relevant hands-on experience as an administrator of IT applications, preferably in consumer package goods, food & beverage industries, or distilled spirits industries
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience managing EDI
- Experience with .NET preferred
- Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working with internal end users
- Demonstrated experience managing outsourced partners/vendors both in executing small projects and a utilizing a maintenance contract
