Do you see yourself as apart of this life-changing work? If so, we are currently seeking a qualifiedand motivated professional for the following position: PRN Customer Service and BenefitsSpecialist - MAT

  • Works directly with clients in the processof creating new client medical records, assessing client's eligibility forservices, and maintaining current insurance eligibility and payer informationfor each client for Adult Services. 
  • Ensures thataccurate demographic and billing information is collected and entered into theclients medical record
  • Responsible for registering patients; obtainingco-payment and/or cash collections of deductibles and co-pays according topolicy and procedure.

Scheduling: 

  • As needed - Requires evenings. 

Travel

  • This position requires utilizing a personaldependable vehicle to conduct Center business. 
  • Maintaining a dependable vehicleand certified driver status is a condition of employment.

Equipment/Technology

  • This position requires the use of basiccomputer skills for time keeping, EMR, scheduling, and spreadsheet data entry.

QUALIFICATIONS - PRN Customer Service and Benefits Specialist

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Business Administration preferred.

 Experience /Knowledge:

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a Professional Healthcare office environment. 
  • Customer service focus and skills required. 
  • Must be comfortable with computers and technology. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal; Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize task are required.

Physical:

  • Minimal exposure to biological hazards.
  • Hearing of normal / soft tones and close eye work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal de-escalation techniques.
  • Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients.
