Helios Service Partners is hiring a Manager of Finance and Accounting. The Manager of Finance and Accounting will leverage their skills and expertise to deliver timely financial and management reporting on a monthly basis. They will be eager to drive impact and change in a small business and develop new or improved accounting and finance processes to support accurate reporting and business partnering.

The manager will work collaboratively with the general manager, providing advisory services with regards to the performance of the business.

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU: 

• Independently perform month-end close of accounting books and provide timely reporting to Helios, Orion, and the General Manager
• Standup and aggressively grow a novel set of standard operating procedures, Initiated and established by financial operations director
• Effectively communicate the financial health of the business to the General Manager and identify opportunity areas that meaningfully impact EBITDA.
• Coach and drive compliance with administrative AR/AP team
• Manage the inventory and fixed asset subledgers
• Implement process improvements to drive efficiencies in finance & accounting processes
• Make recommendations to management to improve profitability
• Identify opportunities to control costs and reduce expenses
• Quantify the financial impact of key cost control initiatives
• Ensure overall trends and the impacts of key initiatives are reflected accurately in the forecast

WHAT SETS YOU APART: 

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• 5 years of work experience in the accounting field
• Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable department
• Experience in people management
• Audit experience and working with private equity-backed companies is a plus 

Helios' compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 annually in our lowest geographic market up to $120,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios compensation may also include annual bonus, commissions, equity, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
