Position Parameters:

Hours: 45-55 hours per week

Days: 6 days a week

Job Summary: 

The CVT Assembler will be responsible for assembling Sun Hydraulics’ high-performance cartridge valves through documented assembly procedures ensuring that build meets engineering specification.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Perform assembly on cartridge valves working with very small parts
• Performing repetitive assembly tasks on order quantities from 50-200
• Ensuring process procedures are followed to maintain high quality of production
• Developing knowledge of Sun product lines while learning to read blueprints and schematics
• Housekeeping of assembly area such as sweeping and vacuuming area before the next shift
• Communicating progress of incomplete work orders and issues to next shift

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Car maintenance experience is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing/sitting (10 hours)

• Ability to lift 35 pounds at times
