- Lead a Procurement Pod/Region’s operations managing weekly execution and deadlines.
- Lead a team of 3-8 buyers. Coach team, hold weekly 1:1s and 30E30S as well as partner with OM to build development plans and provide feedback.
- Lead training and onboarding for new buyers in the pod
- Partner with distribution center(s) and 3PL(s) in the region to manage weekly inventory and ensure that all SKUs are delivered in full, in quality, and on time.
- Lead escalations with DC and strategy teams and problem solving for critical issues in pod/region
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and change management.
- Drive consistency across pods, including adherence to tools and processes like BluJay, IMT, HighJump,Ticketing Tool, and Tableau dashboards.
- National Team Specific Responsibilities:
- Weekly inventory analysis & callouts
- Inbound optimization focused - partnering with buyers and strategy
- Assist in overseeing national replenishment and depletion efforts
- Scope & identify network improvements utilizing data and reporting tools
- Waste project initiatives - tracking discards/metrics
- Depletion buying integration - replenishment dashboard
- New SKU setups & rollouts as the business scales
- Obsessed with food!

- Entrepreneurial and can make things happen

- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in produce, protein, or other food products
- People Management experience is a plus!
- Inventory Management experience is a plus!
- Quantitative and analytical experience(either through education or professional experience) including solid comfort in Excel
- Knowledge & interest in food/food service is encouraged
