What Will You Do

• Work with and provide support to one of the following departments within engineering or digital operation departments: Performance Engineering, FlexRig Support, Global Engineering Support, Product Design & Development or Construction, Electrical & Control Systems Engineering, Advanced Well Engineering, Remote Operations, or Reporting & Advanced Analytics
• Assist in implementing performance improvement initiatives based on customer requests and data analytics
• Create and read engineering drawings to communicate new ideas and products
• Analyze field problems; support technical service in determining various causes & solutions for equipment and structural or operational related problems reported from the field
• Assist with projects to meet the needs of operations
• Accept designated business-focus projects to learn and understand critical practices, identify areas for improvement, research theory, evaluate potential solutions, and present final project at Internship conclusion
• Receive training on the practical application of engineering and concepts to develop solutions for project assignment
• Collaborate with various teams across operating areas and disciplines to achieve enterprise goals
• Demonstrate excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Seek to understand H&P’s role in the Energy Industry, including our brand, our customers, our product goals, and The H&P Way

What You Need

• Students currently seeking a Bachelor’s degree, Graduate degree or certification program in Engineering, Data Science, Physics, Math, or related fields
• Students earning a 3.0 GPA preferred
• Students with authorization to work in the U.S.
