At a Glance:
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Network Administrator with CCIE certification to join our Infrastructure Operations Team. This role will be responsible for providing tier 3 level support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within our Cisco network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience troubleshooting and resolving complex Cisco networks on a global scale, including Cisco ACI, WAN circuits, and software-defined networking (SDN).

What you will do:

• Provide tier 3 level support for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within our Cisco network infrastructure.
• Act as an escalation point of contact for break/fix resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of network-related incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in major incident calls and large outages, providing expertise and guidance to resolve critical issues.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Mentor and coach a team of network administrators, providing technical guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of network administration and documentation.
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to accountability and a sense of urgency when it comes to restoring operational state.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field highly preferred
• CCNP certification is required.
• CCIE certification is strongly preferred .
• CCIE Data Center preferred.
• 10 years of experience in troubleshooting Cisco networks, including Cisco ACI, WAN circuits, and software-defined networking.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices at a large enterprise level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-call 24x7 and participate in major incident calls and large outages as needed.
• Proven track record of managing and resolving network-related incidents in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to network administration and documentation.
• Experience mentoring and coaching a team of network administrators.
