Position Description

· The GM provides leadership to all personnel employed by Hemo bioscience, Inc. The GM is responsible for assisting with development and implementing a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. The GM will also oversee the human resource and business operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

Major Areas of Responsibility

· Oversees all departments within Hemo bioscience, Inc. these include R and D, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer service and Logisitcs.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

· Responsible for implementing overall strategy and direction for Hemo bioscience Inc.

· Serves as human resources director.

· Oversees budgets and finances for the company.

· Responsible for business to business relationships and developing business to include contract manufacturing.

· Oversee and steer product development plans and implementation.

· Ensures that the Quality Management System (QMS) is suitable for the organization and that quality objectives are established and communicated throughout the organization.

· Upholds and promotes the quality policy throughout the organization.

· Participates in quality planning by conducting management review meetings.

· Ensure corporate compliance with all regulatory agencies, state and federal laws.

· Management of manufacturing activities to include developing specification, overseeing the filling and manufacturing operations.

· Assist with providing support to end user customers, Hemo bioscience staff and distributor sales staff.

· Some travel required to conventions, customers and sales meetings.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

· Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.

· Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

· Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.

· Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.

Education and Experience

· Minimum of 10 years experience in life science industry (pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device) in executive management role.

· Post graduate degree in life sciences.
