Our client, a niche leader in the retail industry, is seeking an experienced hands-on Data Warehouse Manager to lead their data warehousing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, technical expertise and a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale data warehouses. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure that data systems support business objectives effectively.

Compensation: $130,000

Workplace Policy: Hybrid, Bergen County, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse solutions.
• Manage a team of data engineers and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data warehousing processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver relevant solutions.
• Optimize data warehouse performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Implement best practices for data management, including ETL processes, data modeling, and database design.
• Monitor data warehouse performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay on top of latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the data infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data warehouse processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of seven years of experience in data warehousing, with hands-on expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and database design
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing tools, and database management systems
• Experience with data integration tools and BI tools
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions
