We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Data Science to lead our Generative AI Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with expertise in leading teams focused on LLM (Large Language Models), Natural Language Processing (NLP), regression analysis, and modeling. The Director of Data Science will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of advanced generative AI solutions that will have a significant impact on our company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the Generative AI Team, setting strategic direction and priorities to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Lead the research and development efforts of the Generative AI Team, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field and exploring new techniques and methodologies to improve performance and efficiency.
• Oversee the execution of projects from conception to completion, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to integrate generative AI solutions into our products and services.
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and robustness of our generative AI models.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate project updates, solicit feedback, and align strategic objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leadership in data science, with experience leading teams focused on generative AI, LLM, NLP, regression analysis, and modeling.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, with hands-on experience in implementing and deploying AI models at scale.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
