JOB SUMMARY Specialty Technicians perform a variety of routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.# Additionally, Specialty Technicians perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks as assigned and according to the assignment setting.# Specialty Technicians have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.# # #JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education High School or equivalent Minimum Work Experience No previous experience Required Licenses/Certifications Hospital-based training program CPR - BLS within 30 days of hire Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to deal effectively with community/consumers. Ability to deal effectively with hospital personnel and duties of position. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
