The Director of Strategic Business Development at Henry Ford Health (HFHS) plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s competitive positioning and growth. This individual is responsible for conducting thorough due diligence, performing detailed analyses, and assisting in the negotiation and execution of various business relationships and transactions. These include mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, investments, and other strategic initiatives that align with HFHS’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Vice-President of Strategic Business Development, the Director works collaboratively with executive leadership, operating units, and service lines to drive the organization’s strategic objectives forward.
The Director Strategic Business Development must possess a high-touch service orientation toward matrixed cross-functional leaders and internal customers as well as an attention to detail and ability to drive initiatives to measurable results on-time, within budget, and meeting desired objectives.The following are expectations with Key Interfaces:
