- Process and upload daily customer refund checks to the bank (BNY/JPM) for voiding.
- Review positive pay - WF/BNY/JPM/BOA.
- Lockbox check application and research as needed.
- Handle lost paycheck replacement requests.
- Provide check status and void AP/claim checks upon request.
- Set up customer accounts.
- Download bank statements.
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations.
- Manage accounting for payroll and accounts payable, with some receivable duties as well.
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in the accounting field.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent accounting skills, including accruals.
- SAP experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Excel, particularly in VLOOKUP functions.
- Utility industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
