910 Media Group is looking for a motivated and reliable carrier to deliver our print products around Northern Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, “can-do” attitude, and apt for technology. This is a part time independent contract position with 910 Media Group and you will be paid on a monthly basis. This position requires organization, the ability to plan and map efficient routes, and a willingness to identify new opportunities for our company. The candidate will also be responsible for collecting payment, picking up unsold stock, and maintaining detailed delivery and pickup records throughout their shifts.

What the Job Entails

● Product pickup from warehouse near Traverse City airport

● Monthly delivery / pickup of Traverse Magazine to over 50 locations across Northern Michigan

● Collecting payment for products sold at newsstands

● Reporting on product sold

● Delivery of payments (minus your percentage) to 910 Media Group

Requirements

● You must be able to complete a delivery route in 3-5 business days that encompasses: Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Northport, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, Traverse City, Frankfort, Beulah, and Benzonia

● You must be able to lift, load, and carry 50 lbs

● You must be dependable with a dependable vehicle that can carry heavy loads of magazines

● You must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance

● You must be flexible, optimistic, and have a keen attention to detail

● You must have basic math skills

● Technology requirements: Smart phone with internet access, access to a computer with Microsoft Excel, access to a printer

● Experience driving Northern Michigan a plus!

Payment:

910 Media Group pays our carriers in the following ways:

● A percentage of product sold

● Delivery payments for free products

● Gas mileage set fee
