SCHEDULE:
3:00pm-11:30am Monday - Friday
LOCATIONS:
This position is based in Des Moines Iowa but will travel to various locations surrounding Des Moines.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for offices and / or medical clinics and related areas. Quality customer service must be provided to the client at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Communication with Heritage Team Members in buildings around Des Moines to get information about needed supplies, and delivery them on designated days, using a Heritage company phone
• Receiving and preparing lists of items for the Heritage Warehouse manager to stock and place in delivery van for each daily route
• Keeping track of supplies distributed to each building on the daily route
• Gathering information for new accounts under the direction of the director of operations and communicating it with management.
• Carpet care and spot treatments as needed in various accounts
• Laundry Assistance at the Heritage Office
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
• Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) Required
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Clean driving record required to utilize company vehicles.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work is performed in a variety of different office locations with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. This job description is not an employment agreement or contract. Management has the exclusive right to alter the scope of work within the framework of this job description at any time without prior notice. This work requires driving to multiple buildings each night to assist with openings and training new employees.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Direct Deposit Pay every other Friday. Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and 401K with a company match available for full time employees working 30 hours per week. Paid Holidays after 90 days for full time employees working 30 hours per week. PTO accumulation for full time employees working 30 hours per week. Mileage reimbursed monthly if own vehicle is used and traveling to multiple job sites each night. Company vehicle may be available for use with clean driving record and valid driver's license.
