Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant-

Responsibilities:

• Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
• Set up the 3 compartment sink for dishwashing.
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, eating utensils.
• Put away and store all of the above properly and appropriately
• Sort, store, and distribute stock/ingredients if required by the chef.
• Assist with putting stock away and storing it properly as required.
• Assist with washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking food, Help prepare salads and desserts as required. Assist with plating food for service.
• Serve residents and guests when needed and perform table busing when required.
• Dispose if all trash. Put recyclables in recycle bin if applicable.
• Organize dining room linen appropriately.
• Maintain clean food preparation equipment, floors, kitchen tools and other areas as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.
• Carry out all other related task assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.
