Summary: The Marketing Communications and Outreach Manager position collaborates with the marketing/communications team and stakeholders to develop marketing programs that support our integrated marketing campaigns and fundraising events. They assist with content development by proofing, editing, writing and producing digital and print communication, including blog posts, news announcements, case studies and more. They will attend events as needed to manage the Heritage Health presence and support the mission of the organization.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of related marketing experience.
  • Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from development to completion.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and adaptability required.
  • Must be up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices.
  • Ability to travel to Heritage Health locations and community event locations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledgeable in Word Press & Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong writing skills
  • Computer navigation skills
  • Experience with Donor software
  • Experience in planning events

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the marketing team in organizing and prioritizing our service ticket orders, graphic design templates, website updates, intranet templates, internal photography and video edits.
  • Researches and schedules outreach opportunities, speaking engagements and assists the team with a variety of administrative duties.
  • Develops tactics to support organizational strategies for promoting Heritage Health in our primary and secondary markets.
  • Oversees new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
  • Organizes and participates in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Manages and grows the Heritage Health Ambassador program to ensure more visibility in the community and to increase employee engagement.
  • Coordinates with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Works with the staff writer to develop news releases, branding and ads that promote the organization's activities.
  • Assists the outreach/enrollment team with marketing strategies and community awareness.
  • Seeks opportunities to welcome groups to learn more about Heritage Health through media video, virtual & facility tours.
  • Measures and reports the performance of all marketing campaigns and assesses ROI and KPIs.
  • Oversees special projects as they arise.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Office staff are required to stand, sit, and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. They are required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occur less than one-third of the time. Communicating by talking/hearing occurs over two-thirds of the day. Amount of time spent lifting or exerting force is about 50% for up to 10 pounds and less than one-third of the time up to 25 – 40 pounds. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 pounds. Must be able to manage efficient keyboard use, hear, see, speak and read. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Working Conditions:

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment in an office building and in a wide-variety of community venues and ambient conditions. Work may be demanding and chaotic at times. May be exposed to patient population that will present a variety of contagious diseases, physical injuries and emotional states of mind. Frequent travel in a motorized vehicle.
