Heritage Oaks Hospital is Hiring an Unit Coordinator (Part-Time) Near Sacramento, CA

Responsibilities:
The Unit Coordinator functions as an active part of the nursing unit team by providing clerical functions for their assigned unit. They act to ensure supplies, charting, patient transport and patient safety are all operating smoothly for their work area. Unit Coordinators work under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.


Experience
: One (1) year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and previous secretarial or medical supply experience preferred.


Licensure:
None.


Additional Requirements:
Incumbent must maintain a current, valid certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training (provided in-house) including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint, within the first 30 days of employment and required prior to assisting in the procedures. Incumbent may be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Salary: Starting from $20.00 to $25.00 an hour
