Job Description –General Manager

• All managers are expected to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner at all times as described in the employee handbook. Fraternization between hourly staff and management, including consumption of alcohol, dating or interpersonal relationships of any kind, and inappropriate social media interaction, is prohibited.
• All managers can expect to work five (5) ten hour shifts. Due to the nature of our business, there may be a time when you are asked to work a sixth shift or asked to work a six day week with abbreviated hours not exceeding a fifty hour week. Extra shifts or hours worked will be made up to you with an extra day/hours off when business allows.
• All managers are responsible for staff hiring and training, opening and closing of the restaurant, shift management and maintenance of the entire property.
• The General Manager is responsible for the accurate daily reporting of financial and operational issues within the restaurant. This information is to be reported in the daily Redbook to be sent out by email on a nightly basis.
• The General Manager are responsible for recording accurate inventories of all food, beverage, and retail items in the restaurant on a monthly basis. Goals and expectations for inventory results will be established by the Company’s Director of Operations & Corporate Chef. Inventory results are to be reported to the Director of Operations & Corporate Chef Monthly. Any deliberate misrepresentation of these inventories is strictly prohibited and grounds for termination of employment.
• All Managers are to work under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations. Additionally all Managers are expected to actively participate in weekly management meetings.

· The General Manager will work to develop trust and credibility with employees while demonstrating honest & ethical behavior and follow up with employees when expectations are not met.

· Lead staff and set standards of excellence through leading by example and providing on-the-job feedback and professional development.

· Follow and comply with company policies and procedures and hold self accountable for tasks

· Serve as a liaison between HR corporate team and restaurant staff to inform of company updates.

· Complete and process human resource forms correctly & consistently while recording labor reports and payroll statistics on a daily basis.

· Utilize reporting forms, including incident reports, guest complaints, employee evaluations, and FBI reports appropriately.

· Make deposits and place service calls and maintenance calls

· Set FOH schedules and work with the Executive Chef to set BOH schedules for high productivity

· Conduct inventories and oversee costs and controls in the store

· Touch tables and interact with guests while striving to maintain 100% guest satisfaction

· Manage operations effectively in FOH and BOH during service hours and opening/closing

· Strong LBW knowledge is essential in this role
