Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Type doctors first patient reports, progress notes, discharge reports and request for surgery
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for confirmation of receipt of patient treatment requests
- Escort patients to exam rooms and or perform front office duties such as checking in patients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in workers compensation healthcare a must
- Excellent typing skills 50 wpm or higher
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish speaker
