Herron Charter is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Near Indianapolis, IN

Herron Classical Schools is seeking candidates for Speech Language Pathologist to serve all three schools in the network. Educators at Herron Classical Schools must embrace the classical, liberal arts mission, commit to high academic and behavioral expectations, and engage in a collaborative environment.

Essential job responsibilities for Speech Language Pathologist include, but are not limited to:

  • Assesses and reports speech and language skills as related to Article 7 and the general education curriculum.
  • Develops and maintains compliant IEPs for identified speech-language impaired students meeting individual needs, interests, and abilities.
  • Participates in case conferences to review diagnostic information, present levels of performance and student progress.
  • Schedules and provides direct services for students with speech-language impairments.
  • Completes progress monitoring reports quarterly
  • Collaborates with parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, psychologists, principals, and agencies to promote speech-language development.
