Job Description:
As a Front Desk Car Rental Agent at our Juneau, Alaska location, you will be the face of Hertz, responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our clients. Your primary duty will be assisting customers with their car rental needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient rental process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their rental inquiries.
Process rental transactions accurately and efficiently using our reservation system.
Provide recommendations and information about available vehicles, rental policies, and optional services.
Inspect vehicles for damage and cleanliness before and after rental periods.
Coordinate vehicle pick-up and drop-off logistics with customers.
Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Upsell additional products and services to meet customer needs and revenue targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and rental lot area.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality or car rental industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
Knowledge of the Juneau area and surrounding attractions is advantageous.
