HERU SECURITY LLC is Hiring a Security Guard Near Petersburg, VA
We are looking for unarmed security officers to work Full time 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday. We also have weekend only positions 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am. You must be able to pass a background check to obtain your security guard card. You must have reliable transportation. You will maintain a high visibility presence with the goal to detect, deter, observe and report.
Responsibilities
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
Skills
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Petersburg, VA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
