Product Owner – Facility Management Software

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner with a background in software development in the construction or real estate industries (preferably in facilities management). As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy, vision and scope of our product, driving its development and delivery (including prioritizing needs, managing backlog and evaluating feedback, coordinating between multiple external and internal stakeholders, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• product vision and strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market demands.
• closely with stakeholders to understand market requirements, user and commercial needs, and business objectives.
• and prioritize product roadmap, features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and industry trends.
• and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the vision and goals of the product.
• closely with development teams to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks.
• clear direction and guidance to development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• agile methodologies and best practices, ensuring teams deliver high quality software on time and on-budget.
• regular sprint reviews and product demonstrations to gather feedback and ensure alignment with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• experience and track record as a Product Owner or similar role in the software development industry (preferred construction or real estate industry), including successful product launches and market adoption.
• of facility management processes and software solutions.
• communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
